WHO
ARE WE?
Health and Education Research Operative Services (HEROS), Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. HEROS' mission is to assess the outcomes of programs and initiatives that impact children, families, and communities. The vision is that programs and initiatives will achieve greater outcomes as a result of research and evaluation data, and that policies will be enacted based on informed data-based decisions.
WHAT DO WE DO?
HEROS has been involved in strategic planning and research/evaluation in the following fields: aging and gerontology, K-12 public education, teen pregnancy prevention, HIV/AIDS, early childhood intervention, economic and community development, childcare, and neighborhood-based healthcare and social services.
