The Program Results Enhance Potential (PREP) Project was designed to help Family Resource Centers (FRCs) who partner with United Way of Metropolitan Nashville (UWMN) to improve procedures for collecting and tracking outcome data. PREP operates under the fundamental principal that effective and efficient use of data leads to better program management and improved program services. PREP also embraces the belief that making "meaningful" outcomes accessible to FRCs will be helpful in leveraging external resources. PREP allows individuals who live and work in FRC neighborhoods to define "meaningful" outcomes that describe the well-being of children, family and elderly living in communities. Outcomes, strategies, and data are used to facilitate the process of selecting community goals and choosing data indicators to measure those goals. Neighborhood goals are then linked to individual FRC programs, strategies, and outcomes. |
